These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Casino Academy (the "App"), a mobile application published by Sixes Software ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

1. Educational Purpose & No Real-Money Gambling​

Casino Academy is an educational application intended solely to help users understand the mathematics, strategy, rules, etiquette, and decision-making involved in common casino games, sports-betting markets, and related topics.

  • The App does not facilitate, enable, process, or in any way handle real-money gambling, wagering, or betting.
  • No real currency, tokens redeemable for real currency, promotional credits, or prizes of monetary value are exchanged, awarded, or accessible within the App.
  • Nothing in the App constitutes a guarantee, prediction, or recommendation that any outcome will occur in any real casino, sportsbook, or lottery.
  • All simulated play occurs entirely within the App and has no connection to real gambling activity.

Strategy information, house-edge tables, odds calculators, and other content are provided for educational purposes only. Mathematical accuracy is the goal; real-world application is the user's responsibility.

2. Age Requirement​

You must be at least 17 years of age (per the Apple App Store's 17+ rating for Frequent/Intense Simulated Gambling) or the minimum age for a Teen rating on Google Play, whichever applies to you. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Casino Academy is not intended for, and must not be used by, anyone below that age.

3. License Grant​

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Sixes Software grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the App, except to the limited extent permitted by applicable law.
  • Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App or its content.
  • Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, sell, or transfer the App or any portion of its content.
  • Use the App for commercial purposes.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices.
  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or the terms of the platform (Apple App Store or Google Play) from which you obtained it.

4. Purchases, Tiers & Entitlements​

4.1 Free access​

A substantial portion of Casino Academy — including all rules content, house-edge tables, basic practice sessions, and responsible-play resources — is available without purchase, subject to the free-tier limits described in the App.

4.2 Paid tiers​

The App offers Plus and Pro one-time in-app purchases (no subscription) that unlock additional features and remove the free-tier session cap. Current tier benefits are described on the Paywall screen within the App.

  • Prices are set by Sixes Software in App Store Connect and Google Play Console, localized by Apple and Google, and displayed in the App at the time of purchase.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). All billing disputes, refunds, and cancellations are handled by the platform provider under its own policies.
  • Restore Purchases is available on the Paywall screen for users who reinstall or switch devices while signed into the same Apple ID / Google account.

4.3 Changes to tiers or pricing​

We may modify the contents of a tier, introduce new tiers, discontinue tiers, or change prices at our discretion. Entitlements you have already purchased will continue to honor what was advertised at the time of purchase, except where required otherwise by law.

4.4 No consumables, no virtual currency​

The App contains no consumable purchases, virtual chips, loot boxes, coins, or credits of any kind. All purchases are one-time unlocks of features and content.

5. Sponsored Content ("On the Floor")​

Casino Academy may display sponsored notices from casino properties, educational partners, or public-service messaging via a surface called On the Floor.

  • On the Floor content is curated and vetted by Sixes Software.
  • Tapping a notice may open an external website in your device's browser. External sites are not controlled by Sixes Software and are governed by their own terms.
  • Inclusion of a property as a sponsor does not constitute an endorsement of that property's gaming operations or any specific rules, pay tables, or promotional terms.

6. Responsible Play​

Casino Academy includes resources on responsible gambling, including helpline numbers, self-assessment tools, and educational materials, available free of charge.

If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling behavior, help is available:

The App includes a soft break-reminder that prompts you to pause long continuous practice sessions. This feature is on by default and may be adjusted in Settings.

7. Intellectual Property​

The App, including its source code, design, user interface, strategy content, lesson text, illustrations, and icon art, is owned by Sixes Software and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Game names (e.g., "Blackjack," "Craps," "Texas Hold'em") refer to games in the public domain and do not imply affiliation with any casino, game developer, or publisher. "Sixes Software" and "Casino Academy" are trademarks of Sixes Software.

8. User Conduct​

You agree not to:

  • Use the App in any jurisdiction where such use is prohibited.
  • Attempt to circumvent any entitlement, paywall, or technical protection measure.
  • Use automated means to interact with the App in a manner inconsistent with ordinary human use.
  • Impersonate Sixes Software or misrepresent the App's content.

9. Disclaimers & No Warranty​

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

SIXES SOFTWARE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that strategy content is complete or appropriate for every real-world rule set or jurisdiction, or that any casino will honor any rule set or pay table described for educational purposes.

Casino rules, pay tables, and house edges vary by property and change over time. Always verify the specifics of any real-world game before playing.

10. Limitation of Liability​

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIXES SOFTWARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, INCLUDING ANY REAL-WORLD GAMBLING LOSSES OR OUTCOMES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU USED INFORMATION FROM THE APP AS PART OF YOUR DECISION-MAKING.

SIXES SOFTWARE'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID SIXES SOFTWARE FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification​

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sixes Software and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App or your breach of these Terms.

12. Platform Terms (Apple / Google)​

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of the applicable platform. In the event of a conflict, the platform's terms govern your relationship with the platform, and these Terms govern your relationship with Sixes Software.

Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms but may be third-party beneficiaries entitled to enforce them.

13. Termination​

You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App and ceasing all use. We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution​

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.

14.1 California Consumer Notice​

Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users may direct complaints to Sixes Software at support@sixessoftware.com, or to the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at 1-800-952-5210.

15. Changes to These Terms​

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will also be surfaced in the App (for example, a new EULA acceptance flow on next launch). Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Entire Agreement; Severability​

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any in-App disclosures, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sixes Software regarding the App. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
